Mont Del HOA

Area Directors Duties

As a member of our Board of Directors, you are the person that has the best opportunity to act as liason between your neighbors and the Board. Your participation as an Area Director is vital in making our HOA relevant to our neighbors.

1. Attend Board meetings. We need you! If neighbors have ideas or concerns, share them with the entire Board.

2. Be alert to neighbors moving in and out of your area. Inform our New Neighbor Welcome Wagon (Anne Santana-asimple1@gmail.com) when new neighbors move into your area. Send directory changes/additions to Alice Miller (MUSC@aol.com) so that we can keep our directory information up to date.

3. Keep neighbors informed about meetings, events, security warnings.

4. Be creative-share your ideas about new initiatives and social functions that would benefit the neighborhood with the Board for consideration.

5. Be involved. As an Area Director, you are committing to be as involved as possible, attending neighborhood functions and the annual meeting.

6. Be positive! People will be more excited about neighborhood functions as they see your excitement.

7. Be fiscally responsible. As a Board member, you must be current with your dues. Help with ideas on how to boost membership. Dues are only $30 per year and our dues provide funding for many things that benefit the entire neighborhood, such as patriotic and holiday flags, a new directory every two years, maintaining the entrance, social events and more.

8. Be a leader. Set the example in your area by obeying laws, ordinances and bylaws. For instance, don’t put your trash out too early or leave your recycling bin out until the next day.

9. If you shop at Tom Thumb or Albertson’s, tie your Reward card to our account-5631. We receive a small reimbursement for purchases made.

THANK YOU for serving your neighbors and our HOA!
Together, we will keep Mont Del the place you are proud to call home.
